Med Ball Moon Ball


In honor of the moon landing 40 years ago, our CrossFit Kids played "Med Ball Moon Ball." Sit with feet in the middle of a circle and pass a medicine ball around the circle tapping it on the floor between each athlete. The ball must travel around the entire circle to count as one repetition. Now reverse the path of the ball for 20 more reps. A great abdominal workout disquised as great fun! Today these tough kids had to make it through an 8 minute "Cindy" before they got to play (in 102 degree heat...of course we took lots of water breaks).

Big Dawgs (11-16 year olds): "Cindy"
5 Pull Ups
10 Push Ups
15 Squats
AMRAP in 8 minutes

Dog Pound (7-10 year olds): "Cindy"
3 Pull Ups
5 Push Ups
10 Squats
AMRAP in 8 minutes

We still have lots of room in our Monday/Wednesday CrossFit Kids indoor class. Beginning September 1st the class will be divided into two classes. Dog Pound (7-10 year olds) at 4pm and Big Dawgs (11- 16 years olds) at 4:45. Contact Coach Heather for more details/questions or to sign up.
