Our CrossFit Teens class at 4:45 on Monday/Wednesday is getting in ridiculously good shape. We are seeing new faces all the time and want to welcome anyone from 11-17 years old to come and join us for a free workout to try it out. CrossFit Kids (ages 7-10) meets at 4:00 on Monday/Wednesday. Our 4:00 CrossFit Kids class the "Dog Pound" got some "Fight Gone Bad" practice. We learned how to execute a Sumo Dead Lift High Pull, Box Jump, and Row on the Concept 2 Rower. These kids are phenomenal! Keep up the good work you guys?
CrossFit Central and Athletes for a Cure are hosting the 4th annual International Fight Gone Bad fund raiser for prostate cancer reasearch. For the first time, our kids can participate in this fun day that benefits such a worthy cause. CrossFit Central is hosting the event on Saturday September 26th at the Long Center in Austin. We would like for all our CrossFit Kids and Teens to raise $25 and participate in the Fight Gone Bad workout. We will have two age groups for the kids, 7-11 and 12-17 year olds. We had a great time this morning at our first ever CrossFit Kids "Under the Bridge" free workout! Sixteen kids came out to get a good workout and have loads of fun! We hope to see you at the next "UTB" on August 29th! Kids, bring your parents for the free adult workout at the same time!
